FAQs

Are you ever going to write Ava's story?

A. For those of you who don't get this one, Ava Markham played a prominent role in the matchmaking scheme that brought hero and heroine together in my first book, Fantasy Fix, originally published by Ellora's Cave. And yes, this is me stalling... Okay, the short answer is: Yes. The mid-length answer is: sometime soon. And the full-length answer is: Frankly, I do intend to write her story, but first I have to find a hero willing to take her on! (Ava has what you might call a...forceful personality!)

Are your early e-books ever coming into print?

A. Yes, I'm happy to say that they are. My current publisher, St. Martin's Press, is planning to begin bringing the old stories that started the world of the Others. That's the good news; the bad news is that before the books come out in print, they need a little spiffing up. Now, that's really only bad because it means it will be a little while before they hit the store shelves, but it's good because it means that when they do, they'll be bigger and better than ever!

What is the correct reading order for all your Others stories, including the e-books?

A. I like to think each of my stories stands alone, but if you want to know what order they came out in, here it is:

Fantasy Fix (out of print)
Fur Factor (out of print)
Faer Fetched (novella, out of print)
Fighting Faer (at Ellora’s Cave)
Fur For All (at Ellora’s Cave)
Fur Play (at Ellora’s Cave)
Wolf at the Door (SMP)
She’s No Faerie Princess (SMP)
The Demon You Know (SMP)
Any Witch Way She Can (in the anthology No Rest for the Witches, SMP, coming 10/07)
Howl at the Moon (SMP, coming 10/31/07)

Do you plan to keep writing stories about the Others?

A. At the moment, absolutely. I'm having a ball with these guys and don't plan to let them go anytime too soon. But I do have other ideas up my sleeves and other worlds I want to explore, so I hope you'll be willing to join me on some other amazing rides!
